MANDALA DANCE FOR CHILDREN-& PARENTS: A RELATIONSHIP IN MOVEMENT
This dance is an opportunity to face the dynamics associated with that particular relationship that exists between parent and child. The approach that you choose is a near experience that departs from the body.
Dancing together allows the Child and the Adult family member (mom, dad, grandpa) to find the finest rhythms and the most effective forms of communication.
Both, Adult and Child, will learn to communicate without resorting to words. After all, Music is the art of thinking with the sounds.
You will perform a form of dance called ”authentic movement”, based on the psychoanalysis studies of Jungian’s dance therapy and on those by Mary Starks Whitehouse.
